The Housing Authority of the City of North Chicago (HACNC) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open.

The HACNC is accepting applications for this waiting list from September 16, 2022, at 10:00 am CT, until 400 applications have been received.

The maximum income limit for each household size are as follows:

• 1 Person $36,500 | 5 Persons $56,300
• 2 Persons $41,700 | 6 Persons $60,450
• 3 Persons $46,900 | 7 Persons $64,650
• 4 Persons $52,100 | 8 Persons $68,800

There are preferences, and they are listed on the application.

Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by random lottery, weighed by order of preferences.
