Peoria Housing Authority Public Housing Waiting List

This waiting list is for Public Housing rental housing assistance in Peoria, Illinois.

The Peoria Housing Authority (PHA) is accepting Public Housing waiting list applications from the earliest confirmed date least July, 2021, until October 2, 2023 at 12:00 am CT.

There are two ways to apply during the opening period:

1. Pick up an application at the PHA Administrative Office; located at 100 S Richard Pryor Pl, Peoria, IL 61605; from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm.
2. Call (309) 676-8736, Ext. 14079 to request an application by mail.

Once the application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the Public Housing Eligibility Specialist in the PHA office at the address above; on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 am until 12:00 pm, and 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm. Applicants will be interviewed by the Public Housing Eligibility Specialist to review the application for completeness and accuracy. All adult (18+) household members must be present at the interview. The PHA states that applicants should allow time for an interview when the application is submitted.

Preferences have not yet been confirmed.

It is not known how selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list.
