This waiting list is for Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher rental housing assistance in Mercer County, Illinois.

The Mercer County Housing Authority Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is closed.

The MCHA last accepted applications for this waiting list from February 23, 2022, until May 2, 2022. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

There were two ways to apply during the opening period: 

1. In person applications are accepted at the MCHA office.
2. Call the MCHA to request an application by mail.

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• VAWA/Victims of Domestic Violence
• Local Residency

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, weighed by order of preferences.
