This waiting list is for Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher rental housing assistance in Saginaw County, Michigan.

The Saginaw Housing Commission (SHC) last accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from May 24, 2023, until May 26, 2023. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required complete the online application.

The maximum income limits for each household size were as followed:

• 1 Person $25,050 | 5 Persons $38,650
• 2 Persons $28,600 | 6 Persons $41,500
• 3 Persons $32,200 | 7 Person $44,350
• 4 Persons $35,750 | 8 Persons $47,200

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Any family that has been terminated from its HCV program due to insufficient program funding.

Selected applicants were placed on this waiting list by random lottery, weighed by preferences.
