Kent County, and Various Cities in Ottawa County, Michigan Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List

This waiting list is for Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher rental housing assistance in Kent County; Grandville, Jenison, Hudsonville, Jamestown and Georgetown Township, Michigan.

The Wyoming Housing Commission (WHC) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. Applications were last accepted from March 8, 2021, until March 9, 2021. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online applications.

The maximum income limits for each household size were as follows:

• 1 Person $28,100 | 5 Person $43,350
• 2 Person $32,100 | 6 Person $46,550
• 3 Person $36,100 | 7 Person $49,750
• 4 Person $40,100 | 8 Person $52,950

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Disabled adult in the household, elderly head of household, co-head or spouse; or families with minor children

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, weighed by order of preferences, then by date and time.
