Brunswick County, North Carolina Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List

This waiting list is for Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher rental housing assistance in Brunswick County, North Carolina.

The Brunswick County Public Housing Agency (BCPHA) last accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from March 11, 2024, until March 25, 2024. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen. 

There were three ways to apply while the waitlist was open:

1. Complete the online application.
2. Pick up an application at the BCPHA office.
3. Call BCPHA to request an application by mail.

Once the paper application was completed, it was to be dropped off at the BCPHA office.

The maximum income limits for each household size were as followed:

• 1 Person $31,000 | 5 Persons $48,000
• 2 Persons $35,500 | 6 Persons $51,550
• 3 Persons $40,000 | 7 Person $55,100
• 4 Persons $44,000 | 8 Persons $58,650

Preferences have not been confirmed.

250 selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, by order of preferences.
