Charlotte, North Carolina Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List

The Inlivian Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. It was last open from September 22, 2014, until September 26, 2014. It is not known when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online pre-application.

This waiting list had the following preferences: Homeless families, veterans, working families, near elderly and victims of domestic violence.

By the end of the waiting list opening period, 32,128 people had applied. This is more than three times the number of applications received during the last opening of the waiting list in 2007. At times, the website was inaccessible because of too much traffic.
