City of Kinston and Lenoir County, North Carolina Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List

This waiting list is for Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher rental housing assistance in City of Kinston and Lenoir County, North Carolina.

The Kinston Housing Authority (KHA) last accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from March 20, 2024 until April 5, 2024. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply while the waitlist is open, applicants were required to pick up the application from one of the KHA locations listed on the public notice.

Once the application was completed, it was postmarked and mailed no later than April 5, 2024 to the KHA. Applicants were reminded that no applications were accepted at any Kinston Housing Authority office, but were accepted by the US Post Office mail only.

Preferences have not been confirmed.

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery.
