Monroe County, New York Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List

This waiting list is for Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher rental housing assistance in Town of Irondequoit, Webster, Penfield, East Rochester, Brighton, Henrietta, Pittsford, Perinton, Rush, Mendon and Macedon and all villages within those areas including Fairport, Honeoye Falls, Webster and Pittsford, New York.

The Fairport Urban Renewal Agency (FURA) last accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from May 17, 2023, until October 3, 2023. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen.

There were three ways to apply during the opening period:

1. Complete the online application.
2. Pick up an application in person at FURA office.
3. Print the paper application.

Once the paper application was completed, it was either:

1. Mailed to the FURA office. 
2. Emailed to FURA.

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Homeless
• Live or work in the FURA service area.

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by date and time the application was received, weighed by order of preferences.
