Westchester County, New York Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List

This waiting list is for Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher rental housing assistance in Westchester County, New York.

The White Plains Housing Authority (WPHA) last accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from April 11, 2024, until April 12, 2024. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply while the waitlist was open, applicants were required to complete the online application.

The maximum income limits for each household size were as followed:

• 1 Person $30,850 | 5 Persons $47,600
• 2 Persons $35,250| 6 Persons $51,110
• 3 Persons $39,650 | 7 Person $54,650
• 4 Persons $44,050 | 8 Persons $58,150

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Displaced by Government Action or Displaced by Natural Disaster.
• Families at the time of application are a residents and/or work in White Plains.
• Families with Children, Elderly, or Disabled.

600 applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, by order of preferences.
