Franklin County, Pennsylvania Mainstream Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List

This waiting list is for Mainstream Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher rental housing assistance in Franklin County, Pennsylvania.

The Franklin County Housing Authority (FCHA) is accepting Mainstream Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from the earliest confirmed date of June 2, 2023, until further notice.

Please note: According to the FCHA "

• Must be under the age of 62
• Someone over the age of 18 must be disabled
• Must be homeless, at risk of being homeless, institutionalized, or at risk of being institutionalized (need written proof of this requirement, including but not limited to a written statement, eviction letter, Notice to Quit, statement from homeless shelter, a statement from the person you are living with)."

There were three ways to apply:

1. Complete the online application. 
2. Complete the application at one of the two Franklin County offices.
3. Pick up an application at one of the two Franklin County offices.

Once the paper application was completed, it was to be dropped off at one of the two Franklin County offices.

Preferences have not been confirmed.

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by date and time the application was received.
