Armstrong County, Pennsylvania Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List

The Housing Authority of the County of Armstrong (HACA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. It was last open for one month in July 2017; and before that from July 2014 until January 2015. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

There were three ways to apply during the opening period:

1. Pick up an application at the HACA Administrative Office.
2. Pick up an application at Armstrong County Senior Centers and public libraries in Apollo, Ford City, Kittanning, Leechburg, Worthington and Freeport.
3. Download and print the application online.

Once the application has been completed, it must have been delivered to the HACA Administrative Office during the opening period.

This waiting list had the following preferences: Life, work or hired to work in Armstrong County, veteran, elderly, disabled. Single persons who are not elderly, disabled or displaced will not be placed higher on the waiting list than elderly, disabled or displaced families of up to two persons; regardless of other preferences.

Applicants were placed on the waiting list by date and time the application was received, by order of preferences.
