Watertown Housing and Redevelopment Commission Public Housing Waiting List

The Watertown Housing and Redevelopment Commission (WHRC) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.The WHRC offers one Public Housing community with 85 units for families and senior/disabled individuals.There are two ways to apply:

1. Visit the WHRC to pick up a pre-application, located at 24 W Kemp Ave., Watertown, SD 57201, during normal office hours.
2. Request to have a pre-application mailed to you by calling (605) 886-2867 during normal office hours.

Once the pre-application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above. Be sure to include these documents with your application: Birth certificates, and Social Security Cards for all members of the household.The WHRC does have a preference for: elderly, disabled, victim of domestic violence, or working families.For more information, call the WHRC at (605) 886-2867 during normal office hours.
