City and County of Fairfax, Virginia Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List

The Fairfax County Redevelopment and Housing Authority (FCRHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. It was last open for one week from January until February, 2019. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application.

This waiting list had the following preferences: Homeless, Working/Employed, Live or Work Locally, Rent Burdened.

2,000 applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, by order of preferences.

The Housing Choice Voucher program waiting list random lottery selection was completed on March 5, 2019. Email notifications were sent on Tuesday, March 5, 2019.
