Moultrie Housing Authority Public Housing Waiting List

The Moultrie Housing Authority (MHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.Please note: The MHA also manages the Public Housing waiting list for the Doerun Housing AuthorityThe MHA offers two Public Housing communities with 328 units for families and senior/disabled individuals.There are two ways to apply:

1. Visit the MHA to pick up an application, located at 800 4th Ave. SE, Moultrie, GA 31768, from 7:30 am until 5:00 pm EDT, Monday-Thursday, and Friday from 7:30 am until 12:00 pm.
2. Download the application here, then print and complete.

Once the application has been completed, it can be hand delivered to the address listed above, or mailed to PO Box 1058, Moultrie, GA. 31776.Be sure to include these documents with your application: criminal history for every member of the household 18 years and older, you must go to the Moultrie Police Dept. and pay ten dollars for a background check, bring your receipt with the application, social security card,s birth certificates, documentation if adult member is a full time student, proof of all income.No preferences were noted.More information can be found by visiting the MHA website at http://moultrieha.com/, or by calling (229) 985-4162, from 7:30 am until 5:00 pm, Monday-Thursday, and Friday from 7:30 am until 12:00 pm.
