Public Housing Waiting List

The Housing Authority of Vivian (HAV) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.
The HAV offers one Public Housing community with 80 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from 1 to 4 bedrooms.
There are two ways to apply:1. Visit the HAV to pick up a pre-application, located at 609 Redbud Ct, Vivian, LA 71082, from 9:30 am until 3:30 pm, Monday-Thursday, and on Fridays from 9:30 am until 12:00 pm.2. Request to have a pre-application mailed to you by calling (318) 375-2381, from 9:30 am until 3:30 pm, Monday-Thursday, and on Fridays from 9:30 am until 12:00 pm.
Once the pre-application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above, from 9:30 am until 3:30 pm, Monday-Thursday, and on Fridays from 9:30 am until 12:00 pm.
Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards for all household members, and photo IDs for all adult household members. All adult household members must be present when returning the pre-application.
The HAV does not have a preference.
Qualified applicants will be placed by the date and time the pre-application is received.
