This waiting list is for Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher rental housing assistance in Harford County, Maryland.

The Harford County Housing Agency (HCHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open. Applications are being accepted since at least November 2019, until further notice.

To apply during the opening period, complete the online application.

This waiting list has the following preferences:

• Live or work in Harford County
• Family with dependent children?
• At least one family member worked 32+ hours per week for the previous 12 months
• Head/co-head/spouse elderly (62+) or disabled?
• Veteran or a surviving spouse of a veteran?
• Experiencing homelessness
  • Living in a homeless shelter, institution (jail, nursing home, group home), living on the street, living with friends or relatives

The maximum income limits for each household size are as follows:

• 1 person- $21,250 | 5 person- $32,750
• 2 person- $24,250 | 6 person- $35,150
• 3 person- $27,300|  7 person- $39,010
• 4 person- $30,300 | 8 person- $43,430

Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, weighed by order of preferences.
